May help reduce painful urination and may help moderate urine that contains excessive uric acid by acting as a drying astringent agent on the tissues.

BLADDER MATTERS natural phytochemical content may be instrumental in helping to build all types of collagen, including:

Type I: The most common form of collagen, found in the GI tract; may help build bones, help heal wounds and may help maintain skin elasticity.

Type II: Related to helping build cartilage found in connective tissues, especially important in cases of age related joint pain and joint decline caused by arthritis.

Type III: Related to the tiny fibers that comprise organs, skin, blood vessels and heart tissues; may help provide tensile elasticity to skin and tissues. A deficiency of Type II collages has been attributed with cardiovascular conditions.

Type V: Comprises the many tiny fibers of collagen itself, found in hair follicles, cell surfaces and placenta tissues.

Type X: Collagen involved in direct formation of bones and articular cartilage and may be important in helping repair synovial joints and damage to bones, including breaks and strains.

Contraindications

Do not use if your pet is pregnant, nursing or diagnosed with leukemia. Consult your vet as is possibly contraindicated for pets diagnosed with hyperkalemia or at risk of hyperkalemia due to potassium content or are using hypoglycemic, diabetic or diuretic medications.

Drug Interactions

May potentiate hypoglycemic, diabetic and diuretic medications.

Dosage

Dogs and cats up to 12 pounds: 1 capsule, one time daily.
Dogs and cats 13-25 pounds: 1 capsule, two times daily.
Dogs and cats 26-50 pounds: 2 capsules, two times daily.

Dogs 51-75 pounds: 3 capsules, two times daily

Dogs 76+ pounds: 4 capsules, two times daily.
